So, it’s been some time since I’ve given any real updates full of precious substantiality. There have been several reasons for this, none of which I really feel like going on about. But I think I may be back.

The biggest bit of news in the world of Josh Bales is that I finally moved out of my parents’ and into my own place. Yep, I’m now officially a resident of Huber Heights. I’ve got a decent two-bedroom apartment, with furniture, walls, floors, and even ceilings! It’s a veritable Eden. I call it my “Domicile of Doom.” So I guess technically I should call it my “Dark Eden.” (Now that’s a sweet name.) I’ll take some pictures of it and post them sometime in the near future, once I get settled in.

Sometime in June I plan on having a little celebration (no, not that kind of Celebration, though that would be sweet) which pretty much everybody is invited to. I’ll post more details as I invent them. It should be entertaining, or at the very least mildly diverting.

Expect more blogging in future from me. My writing output is slowly gearing up again, so I’ll talk about that with more frequency. And honestly, the narcissistic side of me just sort of misses it. I like blathering on about myself (and bitching — I loves to bitch), and I just plain like stringing words together to form ideas.

Now for comments: I’ll try to strike a balance with the commenting system where people can post without having to register, ’cause that it way more convenient, but I don’t get inundated with hundreds of spam comments a day. That seriously pisses me off and is part of what drove me away from doing this in the first place.

So yeah. I’m back.
