FAKE TRAILERS

February 6th, 2006 at 12:49 am | Crazy Internets, Moving Pictures

I apologize for the lack of updates, but I truly have been busy, not just … neglectful.

Anyway, here’s the trailer for a new movie. It should be sweet.

It might not be as funny as the “trailer” for The Shining, made-up as a romantic comedy, but it’s still pretty cool.

Now we know why Marty really had to go back with Doc to the future in part 2…

Um, yeah, wasn’t it because his son was going to be arrested? I really don’t think that’s very homosexual, but thanks for playing “Find the Gay References in Movies that have No Gay References or Innuendos of Any Kind!!! You’ve won an edition of our home game!!!

That was definitely more entertaining than the real Brokeback Mountain!

If you’ve seen it, let me know what you thought. I feel as if people are being blinded by the message and forget that there really isn’t anything spectacular about the film.

I thought it was a pretty good movie, like a gay love story that wasn’t nearly as “gay” as a regular love story.

I hope you’re joking because there’s no need to get so worked up over that. Especially since I have an encyclopedic knowledge of the movie and knew that from the age of 7.

I think everyone should relax and just enjoy the trailer for what it is: a fake trailer, nothing more.

Haven’t seen Brokeback Mountain yet. Not sure if I’m even going to. The reason I’m not that interested is, not because of the whole gay element to it, but because I think it looks kind of boring. I’m not a very big fan of Ang Lee films. Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and Hulk are two extremely tedious films, so I’m basing my opinion on that.

Personally, I like my westerns in the John Wayne style: McLintock! and Big Jake. Clint Eastwood’s Unforgiven was pretty awesome too.
